The sixteenth consecutive annual Youth Fest, the finals of which took place at the Philip Marcellin Grounds, Vieux Fort on Sunday December 16th, 2018 ended on a successful note. Teens from Saint Lucia, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines displayed their talent in various arts on Sunday December 16, 2018 at Philip Marcellin Ground, Vieux Fort. Youth Fest is a family-oriented event that focuses on showcasing, promoting and developing the musical and related talents of the youth while harnessing their creativity and influences to spread messages of understanding, tolerance, peace and goodwill for a better society. Senior News correspondent Cecile Actille reports.

They’re requesting a waiver on monthly rental fees. However, Tourism and Investment Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire says under the current circumstances waivers “cannot work”.
