Challenges in crime management are expected to be challenged head on by national authorities, placing youth interventions at the focus. A spate in gun related crimes has continued to claim the lives of young Saint Lucians with males forming the lions share of lives lost. According to Home Affairs Minister Dr. Virginia Albert Poyotte, calls issued to address such issues will be met with action.
