WILL THE RECENT UPTICK IN NEW COVID CASES DELAY RETURN OF GROS ISLET FRIDAYS?

Gros – Islet MP Kenson Casimir remains hopeful of the long awaited return of the weekly Gros – Islet Friday street jam. In March, Casimir disclosed organizers initially earmarked April 29 to jumpstart the official return of Gros – Islet Fridays. However, in the days leading up to the re-launch date, health authorities have confirmed an increase in COVID-19 data trends. Kenson Casimir however, is cautiously optimistic COVID-19 won’t turn out to be a party-pooper on April 29.
