Concerned citizens converged on the Constitution Park Thursday to stand in solidarity with the family and loved ones of the slain wife of a police officer. Kimberly Williams-De Leon was discovered lifeless at home on Tuesday night, bearing apparent gunshot wounds. The Acting Deputy Police Commissioner at a press conference the next day confirmed that the deceased woman’s husband was a person of interest assisting police with investigations. But as the question of transparency with the investigations comes the fore, those gathered in the city’s center says they are keeping a watchful eye on how it progresses.
