Venezuela has called on Saint Lucia and the wider regional community to unite against perceived threats and preserve the Caribbean as a region of peace. The strong appeal comes amidst warnings against military interventions based on “fabricated narratives” and a denial of official knowledge regarding a recent United States strike on a “drug boat” allegedly travelling from Venezuela.
