Valley of Decision – Permission granted to host Valley carnival

Saint Lucia Police say the homicide which took place over the weekend wasn’t directly affiliated to carnival activities in La Ressource, Dennery.
Assistant Police Commissioner George Nicholas stated police presence was reinforced due to an abundance of caution subsequent to the shooting
Police also disclosed that permission had been granted for carnival celebrations in La Ressource Dennery over the weekend.

The arrests were conducted during the covid-19 partial lockdown include violations for social distancing and not wearing masks.
