A promising Saint Lucian business owner learned a hard lesson in trademark law after a United States law firm issued an immediate cease and desist to the proprietor of the locally owned Kinky Curly Me hair-care company. Cheryl Stanislas, the owner of Kinky Curly Me, has until September 1 to respond attorneys representing Kinky Curly – a US based hair care company who alleges the Saint Lucian company is in breach of US trademark laws.
