Update on Shooting in Marchand, Castries.

A report of a shooting incident was referred to the Marchand Police Station about 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023. 

One male was shot during the incident and was transported to a medical facility via private transportation and is presently in stable condition.

On Thursday March, 30, 2023, Cuthbert Similien of Maynard Hill, Marchand, Castries was arrested in relation to this shooting incident and formally charged for the Offences of Discharging of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. And he is currently remanded.
