TAIWAN GOV’T INVESTS $18M+ IN CONSTITUENCY DEV. PROGRAM

Taiwan Ambassador to Saint Lucia, Peter Chen, handed over an XCD $18.5 million dollar cheque to the Philip J Pierre Administration to fund the 2022/23 cycle of the Constituency Development Program. The Prime Minister has recommitted to ensuring Opposition held constituencies get its fair share of the CDP funds. Before assuming Office last July, Labour Party MPs accused the then Chastanet led United Workers Party Administration of denying them access to CDP resources.
