It has been downgraded from a hurricane, but forecasters say Tropical Storm Isaac remains strong as it moves towards the Eastern Caribbean. The St. Lucia Met Services has urged St. Lucians to be vigilant as the island will begin to feel the effects of Isaac as early as Wednesday afternoon. Early Tuesday morning, Isaac’s centre was located 14.6 North, 48.1 West or about 880 miles (1,420 KM) East of the islands. It was moving towards the West at 14 mph (22KM per hour) with maximum sustained winds reaching 70 mph (110 km/h). Senior News Correspondent Cecile Actille reports.
