Stone Infrastructure Saves Baron’s Drive, Soufriere from Severe Disaster.(July 2nd 2024)

Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre has declared that while Saint Lucia was spared the worst during Hurricane Beryl, there is no reason for complacency. The southern tip of the island was severely impacted by the storm. Soufriere MP Hon. Emma Hippolyte credited the stone infrastructure along Baron’s Drive for preventing further disaster in the community.
