Special Services Unit Action Results in Firearm and Ammunition Recovery 

On Friday, May 10, 2024, at 12:30pm, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) recovered an illegal firearm and ammunition in La Croix Maingot, Marigot. In the process, they also apprehended four individuals.

Officers attached to the Special Services Unit whilst conducting a traffic operation, stopped a motor vehicle, occupied by four males. 

An inspection of the motor vehicle and its occupants led to the discovery and seizure of a one (1) 9mm pistol, equipped with one (1) magazine, and eleven (11) rounds of ammunition. Consequently, the following individuals were arrested and subsequently charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition:

  1. Shervon John a twenty-two-year-old (22) resident of Marigot.
  2. Shequan Joseph a nineteen-year-old (19) resident of Marigot.
  3. Dellian Gonzaque a thirty -year-old (30) resident of Marigot. 
  4. Maximin Duncan a thirty-two-year-old (32) resident of Marigot. 

The four individuals are currently being held in police custody, awaiting a bail hearing.
