Shannon Gabriel was named Man of the Match after capturing nine wickets in the first Test. Following the emphatic win yesterday, Gabriel did concede that he is feeling a bit stiff, but thankfully there are a couple of days to recover as the second Test will be played from Thursday 16th July. Coming over to England he said the team was quite confident after defeating England in the Caribbean last year, that they could get the job done. Meanwhile, captain Jason Holder said that he was very happy as the boys have worked hard and it’s good to see that it has paid off. He was happy to see Gabriel returning back well and also Blackwood. They put their hands up and led the charge. Though he missed the Barmy Army, nevertheless it was a leveled playing field without the crowds. It’s been a good start back to international cricket, it sets the series up nicely with two matches remaining.
