Prime Minister’s Office responds to Chastanet’s open letter

Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, Maundy Lewis, responds to an open letter penned to the Prime Minister by Opposition Leader Allen Chastanet, demanding a suspension of the 2.5% Health and Security Levy.
Lewis explains the tax will not be applied to all goods on-island. The levy will come into force on August 1st 2023.
