PRIME MINISTER PHILIP J PIERRE ADDRESSES AFTERMATH OF TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ON SUNDAY

Several communities in the northern half of the island Sunday [Nov 6th] were submerged under water during a two-hour downpour. Prime Minister Hon. Philip J Pierre, at a press briefing Monday [Nov 7TH], informed the media that officials are currently in the midst of damage assessment. Prime Minister Pierre called for citizens to dispose of waste properly, citing that climate change is real and disasters of this nature may be more frequent.
