Only the Prime Minister knows when he will ring the election bell which is constitutionally due by October this year. Speaking to reporters outside the House of Assembly on Tuesday, the Prime Minister indicated his intention to call the elections within the constitutionally prescribed time frame. Recently, former Senate president and Labour Party chairman Claudius Francis rubbished election delay notions – warning “there will be hell to pay” if the Chastanet Administration “goes against the Constitution”.SHOW LESS
