One man is dead following a shooting incident in the City about noon today.

The victim has been identified by law enforcement personnel as Dwyane William,alias, “Zozo” of Jacmel.

The deceased is believed to be in his thirties.

Video footage shows a bleeding William sitting outside what appears to be a shop. Law enforcement personnel could also be seen trying to prevent a crowd from gathering around William.

William who was shot in the vicinity of the Morne Du Don bus stand on upper Jeremie Street, was transported to hospital where he later succumbed.

William is said to have sustained multiple gun shot wounds.

MBC will provide more details as soon as it becomes available.
