Prime Minister declares war against illegal entry of firearms into Saint Lucia

Prime Minister Allen Chastanet, has declared that Saint Lucia has failed to secure its borders, hence the emphasis on the creation of a new Border Control Agency. He spoke against the backdrop of concerns in the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force that high powered weapons were used in Sunday’s shooting incident in Wilton’s Yard, in which 47 year old Stephen Francis, alias Face, was killed.
