MBC Prime on Monday broke the story of a batch of flour on the shelves of Massy Stores which bore two Best Before dates.
Now, the Company’s Head of Corporate Communications did disclose in Monday’s interview that the original January 2019 expiry date was the result of a printing error on the part of the Barbadian Suppliers, prompting the company to affix the correct date of January 2021.
Now while there has been immense public backlash, they Director of Consumer Affairs told MBC Prime Tuesday, that Massy did not act wrongly in affixing a new date, but the supermarket chain may have erred in other ways.
