Existing working conditions for law enforcement officers have been described as unacceptable by Saint Lucia’s Home Affairs Minister dr. Virginia Albert Poyotte. Her comments emerge in the midst of a media tour examining potential locations for consideration in temporarily housing officers of the Gros Islet Police Station. According to Dr. Poyotte, the transition to more suitable accommodation formed part of a promise issued, which her administration sought to fulfil.
