Motorcyclist dead following motor vehicle collision, Chaussee Road

The driver of a motorcycle has died after a crash on Chausse Road, Castries, according to police.
Officers attached to the police traffic department were called to Castries at approximately 4 pm for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
The fatal collision prompted the closure of Calvary/Chaussee Road and advised from traffic police officers to use alternative routes.
Despite efforts by emergency personnel from the operator of the motorcycle remained critical .
Emergency personnel at Fire Service headquarters responded to the incident at approximately 4;10 pm Sunday October 2nd.
No word as yet as to the identity of the deceased by police.
