Attorney David Moyston representing Dr. Gilbertha St. Rose argues Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sharon Belmar-George should not be on the special committee set up to adjudicate his client’s fate as a licensed medical doctor. In recent months, Dr. St. Rose has become the medical poster child for Ivermectic, a prescription drug used to kill parasites in livestock and humans. But, her Ivermectin advocacy and use in her private practice as a COVID-19 treatment has landed her in hot water with the Medical and Dental Council. Attorney Moyston has bought Dr. St. Rose time before the hearing now set for October 27 but, can he save his client’s medical license and keep her out of jail?
