Dr. Gilberta St Rose and her legal team scored a victory in the High Court several weeks after the Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Council imposed a XCD $10,000 fine and suspended her medical licensed for prescribing and promoting the controversial Ivermectin anti-parasite drug to treat COVID-19 in her patients. Attorneys for the embattled physician convinced Justice Rohan Phillip to allow their legal challenge of the Medical and Dental Council’s decision to proceed.
