The announcement of national venues for the hosting of Jounen Kweyol festivities has invited public dialogue, with individuals expressing disappointment with and support for the selection of the city of Castries as one of two national locations. While questions surrounding the guidelines for selection have been issued by some, according to one public official, much consideration went into arriving at the locations announced.
