Recognizing the need for urgent intervention to lift the island’s most vulnerable and underserved constituents out of deprived housing conditions, Housing Minister Richard Frederick with the support of the Philip J Pierre led Cabinet has repurposed a $10.7 million dollar loan from the Taiwanese government. Qualifying households will have access to the government’s new Housing Assistance Programme – a facility dedicated to improving the living conditions of Saint Lucia’s low income households.
