Global cases of the emerging monkeypox disease continue to increase. Monkeypox infections are also popping up in Saint Lucia’s main tourism markets. The Health Ministry says to date there are no known cases of monkeypox locally. However Saint Lucians are being urged to be pay attention to the symptoms and if [you’re] eligible consider getting vaccinated.
