Nutrition experts say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But, for Saint Lucia’s poorest and even low income earners, breakfast is simply out of their reach. The inflation crisis threatens the quantity of monetary and food donations provided to local charities to help keep the island’s needy population clothed and fed. Despite the challenges, one man has devoted his mornings handing out hot tea and bread to whoever’s hungry.
