Homicide at Bois Patat, Morne Du Don

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of twenty-five (25) year old, Denzel Edmund of Lastic Hill, Castries.

A report of a shooting was referred to the Criminal Investigations Department in Castries, about 4: 15 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Denzel Edmund was found motionless at Bois Patat, Morne Du Don, with apparent gunshot wounds to his body. He was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.

A post mortem examination is scheduled for a subsequent date.

The Royal St. Lucia Police Force wishes to extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and to encourage anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact the nearest police station, or the Criminal Investigations Department at 456 3770.
