HILAIRE SAYS DOCUMENTS CONTRADICT CHASTANET’S EXPO-DUBAI CRITICISM

Tourism Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire may have just weakened the Opposition Leader’s argument against Saint Lucia’s decision to use Expo Dubai to assess the viability of establishing potential tourism linkages in the Middle East. Citing the unavailability of direct flights from the UAE, both Mr. Chastanet and former Tourism Minister Dominic Fedee rubbished Hilaire’s exploratory efforts in Dubai. Pushing back at the Opposition’s criticism, Hilaire has produced the documents he believes will rebuff the Chastanet- Fedee scrutiny.
