The thespian pursuits of students at one national school will soon be available for public viewing, after a yearlong process of training. Students at the Castries comprehensive Secondary school are expected to breathe life into the work of one of Saint Lucia’s more venerated playwrights, the late Roderick Walcott. Detailing the process undertaken to lead up to the impending delivery of the production, one educator described support extended to the world of theatre arts within the school system as needing improvement.

The Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival, confirmed by the islands Tourism Minister as returning in 2023 served as the islands premier music festival for 25 years, before being brought to a close, ahead of the emergence of the Soliel Saint Lucia Summer of Festivals.
