Relatives of a two year old girl whose death is being investigated as a “suspicious” was said to be in the care of a man alleged to be her father. The child was rushed to St. Jude hospital on Tuesday February 9th after she collapsed at a home at Anse Ger, Desruisseaux.

Saint Lucia Labour Party Political Leader Philip J Pierre in an address to the nation rolled Thursday rolled out his plans to help the island’s COVID-19 policymakers get a hold of the sweeping third wave linked to eight deaths and more than 600 cases this month. Among Pierre’s seven point plan include vital socio-economic support initiatives for families and business. The SLP, like the Medical and Dental Association and other civic groups, also urged the Prime Minister to reconsider his resistance to close the borders to high risk countries.
