To date, more than 400 people in Saint Lucia have been infected with Dengue Fever according to officials. Dengue cases surged in August. The Ministry of Health recorded more than 160 cases in one week. With no vaccine or specific treatments, officials say the most effective strategy against Dengue is to eradicate the mosquitos that spreads the virus.
