From the unsightliness, of many blocks, to the non-payment of rent, the Castries CDC’s have been a sore point for successive Housing Ministers. But what to do with them? Well, talk of demolition of the CDC buildings has sparked the debate over whether low income housing should remain in the city’s centre. And in light of a pronouncement by Housing Minister Guy Joseph last week, Miguel Fevrier spoke to a woman who has lived there since 1969. She had some choice words for Guy Joseph.
