The Civil Service Association wants local employers to refrain from firing workers who are unwilling to get vaccinated. Numerous companies have begun introducing new health and safety policies that now require workers to get the COVID vaccine to keep their jobs. More than a dozen workers previously employed at a manufacturing plant were fired for “failing to comply” with a new workplace vaccine mandate. Their decision to refuse the COVID jab has cost them severance pay. However, the CSA believes all is not lost and legal action could compel their former boss to pay up.
