Addressing rumor surrounding the fate of the recently established Events Company of Saint Lucia, a government run entity tasked with producing the island’s marquee festivals, Creative Industries Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire disclosed stakeholder consultation is advancing for amicable alternatives. Citing its taxpayer funded multimillion dollar budget and existing state agencies with similar responsibilities, Dr. Hilaire is not ruling out suggestions to dissolve Events Company of Saint Lucia.
