CONSUMERS URGED TO REPORT MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUGAR ACCESS

The unavailability of sugar on island has resulted in an increase in public demand, and unconventional distribution processes by retailers on island. Recent reports of shop owners requiring the purchase of additional items to gain access to sugar stores have been decried by the Consumer Affairs Department as action which should be suspended. Consumers have been encouraged to take action if presented with this option.
