One man is speaking out against the brutal beating of a “Jordan” – a homeless man with mental health issues who was assaulted by parishioners in the Vieux-Fort Catholic Church on February 13. Anthony Belasse is the church bell ringer and concedes “Jordan” is a habitual trespasser who routinely relieves himself inside the church. The bell ringer however, says assaulting “Jordan” was “…high handed and excessive…”.
