The government’s misfeasance case against Opposition Leader Allen Chastanet went nowhere when he was Prime Minister. His controversial explanation for the delay however, has triggered backlash. Prime Minister Philip J Pierre says Mr. Chastanet’s utterances were “…unacceptable…” and amounts to “interference” with the legal system.
