CARDI Move To Address Yam Scarcity In The Region(AUGUST 7TH, 2026)

In a major move to combat a regional yam shortage caused by a destructive fungal disease, the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) has received a fresh shipment of disease-resistant hybrid yam varieties from the French research center CIRAD.
