MBC Prime has been able to confirm that an interim Board of Management has been appointed by the SALCC. Since the en masse resignation of the previous board on August 7, following a less than amicable meeting with Cabinet the day before, questions abound as to the future of the island’ premier tertiary level institution. Education Minister Dr. Gale Rigobert promised the installation of an interim board of management within a week of the resignation. That never materialized despite concerns expressed by the SLTU…until now.

Relatives of a two year old girl whose death is being investigated as a “suspicious” was said to be in the care of a man alleged to be her father. The child was rushed to St. Jude hospital on Tuesday February 9th after she collapsed at a home at Anse Ger, Desruisseaux.
