While reports have been pouring in about school plants island-wide being in a state of disrepair as the 2018-2019 academic year begins, it was not all doom and gloom in the Dennery Segment…well at least the northern part. This was disclosed by Dennery North MP Shawn Edward who was asked to comment on the preparations for the new academic year in his constituency. The former Youth & Sports Minister spoke to Senior News Correspondent Miguel Fevrier at our studios Tuesday.

Relatives of a two year old girl whose death is being investigated as a “suspicious” was said to be in the care of a man alleged to be her father. The child was rushed to St. Jude hospital on Tuesday February 9th after she collapsed at a home at Anse Ger, Desruisseaux.
